get an old flat ribbon cable from a computer or similar.
take 16 poles and cut them from the rest of the cable.
use this for crimping with the connectors. or buy some new...

the IC is not available from buerklin, so you have to look
where to get. try to get th CN version in a pdip-20 casing,
otherwise you have to solder a small adapter for the so-outlined
version. and for this you need a soldering needle or a very fine
tip for your iron.
